Firehole Lake Drive

Firehole Lake Drive is a short little side road just south of the Midway Geyser Basin.

The main feature of the drive is the Great Fountain Geyser, which, while it doesn't erupt with anywhere the regularity of Old Faithful, when it does erupt, it goes on and on for a good long time. I happened to be there when it erupted. Here are some images:

The other geyser of note along Firehole Drive is the White Dome Geyser, which goes off fairly frequently:

The lake after which the drive is named can seem a bit anti-climatic, as it's not all that special:
